Deputy Chief Minister of the state and BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis also reacted and expressed his opinion. He was speaking at a press conference in Nagpur on Friday (February 17).
Devendra Fadnavis said, "The Supreme Court said that the demand to refer the case to a 7-judge bench for reconsideration of the Rabia case decision is not meritorious. We will hear this matter on merits. The court also mentioned that after that we will decide whether to give a final decision or send it to a 7-judge constitution bench."
