About Rs.1000 crore has been deposited in the trust through this campaign so far, said Shri Vishwaprasanna Tirtha Maharaj, a trustee of the trust and abbot of the monastery in Page, Karnataka .
The Central Government has set up the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Shrine Trust for the construction of the Ram Temple. The work of this trust is carried out in collaboration with Vishwa Hindu Parishad. From January 15, the trust launched a nationwide donation drive. So far, the trust has received Rs 1,000 crore in just one and a half months.
The trustee said on the page, "I am very happy with the response of the people of South India to this campaign. I have traveled a long way to raise funds. People from all walks of life have contributed to this project. The increase in funds is an important issue for the entire Hindu community working for the construction of the temple. The purpose of the trust is not only to build a temple in Ayodhya and install an idol of Lord Rama in it. Going forward, the ultimate goal of this project is to establish an ideal welfare state. ”
All temples should be protected
He has demanded that all the temples in the state should be protected. "Because of this, no one will think of encroaching on the temple premises and there will be no disputes in the future," he said.
