Mumbai: The Thackeray government has given a great deal of comfort to the common man, who has been suffering from lack of local services for months. Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has directed the government to start Local train services for ordinary passengers in a timely manner, as the co-operation situation was only allowed by the mumbai suburban railway services. The meeting was held at Varsha under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray recently to set out a specific schedule for setting up of local railway services for all in Mumbai. Senior railway officials were also present.

The local services in Mumbai were suspended due to the corona. Slowly, local services were started. However, the common man was not allowed to travel. Therefore, the common man was being proved to be a little more than a man. In this context, the meeting chaired by Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has decided to start Local train for all passengers including some time-bound rules.

Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray had directed that the health rules be kept in check and that there would be no congestion. Accordingly, the service will now be available for the common man as follows: When will the common man travel? All passengers will be 1st local in the morning till 7 am. Then, from 12 noon to 4 pm, and from 9 pm to 9 pm, the public will be able to travel to the last locality. When can't you travel? Ordinary passengers will not be able to travel by suburban train between 7 am and 12 pm and 4 pm to 9 pm. During this time, only passengers belonging to a particular category permitted to travel. Will office times change?

The state government has requested that the offices and establishments in Mumbai and the suburbs should make the necessary changes in their working hours, keeping in mind the need to start local travel facilities for all. The chief secretary's leaflet calls for change in office hours.

The notification has also been communicated to all commissioners, police commissioners and collectors of the Mumbai metropolitan area. Shops and establishments in Mumbai and Mumbai metropolitan areas will be kept open till 11 pm and restaurants will be kept open till 1 pm. It has also been clarified that the maximum attendance of employees for shops will be 30% and the restaurants and food courts will be implemented as per the prescribed SoPs from time to time.
